Help & Getting Started

Answers to common questions, and how to reach us if you're stuck.

Getting started

How do I set up my AI workforce?

Start at Workforce → Assemble Team, or just describe what you're trying to build in Chat with Atlas — it can hire the right roles for you directly from the conversation.

What's the difference between "Start a Build" and "Repo Scanner"?

"Start a Build" (Launch) plans and builds a brand-new project from an idea. "Repo Scanner" (Projects) connects an existing GitHub repository, scans it, and applies AI-suggested fixes to it.

What is Forge?

Forge is Atlas's self-improvement engine — it scans for real gaps (bugs, missing features, code-quality issues), proposes fixes, and opens pull requests for human review. "Forge (self-improve)" runs on this app's own codebase; "Forge (multi-repo)" runs against repos you connect.

Billing & plans

Where do I manage my subscription?

Settings → Billing shows your current plan, usage against your monthly build/PR/deploy limits, and a link to manage payment details.

What happens if I hit my plan's limit?

Builds, PRs, and deploys are capped per month by plan tier. Settings → Billing shows how close you are before it happens; upgrading from /pricing raises the limit immediately.

Data & privacy

Can I export or delete my data?

Workspace owners can request a data export or deletion from the admin Compliance tab. Exports are gathered and returned immediately; deletion requests are queued for manual processing (see the confirmation dialog for details) since it's an irreversible, workspace-wide action.

Where's the privacy policy / terms of service?

Linked in the footer of every page — see Privacy and Terms.

Integrations

How do I connect GitHub?

Settings → General has a Connect GitHub option (works via a personal access token, no separate app install needed). Once connected, Repo Scanner and Forge can read and open PRs against your repos.

What other integrations are supported?

Linear (for intake of work items into Forge) and a general integrations catalog under Workforce → Integrations.

Still stuck?

If you're on a team workspace, reach out to your workspace owner or admin — they can be found under Settings → Team.
